Appointment Policy

We suggest scheduling routine appointments at least three weeks in advance. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority followed by patients with previously scheduled appointments. If we are running late due to unforeseen emergencies, we will make every effort to contact you.

We work hard to accommodate the unexpected by leaving room in our daily schedule for six or more urgent care visits. In cases where these “urgent care” time slots become full, an urgent care fee will be charged.

In the rare case that our emergency caseload does not allow our doctors and staff to handle further patients, we will assist you in arrangements for referral to the local on call veterinarian or nearest referral center.

Payment Policy

Visa, MasterCard, Discover CardWe require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, cash and personal checks.

CareCredit is a flexible patient/client payment program, specifically designed for pet care expenses, that makes it easier for you to get your pet the treatment or procedures they need. CareCredit is ideal for co-payments, deductibles, treatment and procedures not covered by pet insurance as well.

Day Patient Admit Policy

If your pet needs attention and you are not able to come in for a regular appointment, we are happy to schedule an examination as part of our Day Patient Admit Program. We admit pre-scheduled patients into the hospital after 8:00 a.m. for examination and/or treatment later in the day. While we are unable to predict an exact time that exam and treatment will take place, your pet will be assessed by the admitting nurse on arrival and made comfortable in our outpatient ward until the examination by the doctor. Planning to leave your pet for a full day is advised.

Additionally, you will need to plan for a few additional minutes when you arrive to fill out our form that allows the doctor to have all the needed information to care for your pet as well as how to contact you with an update as soon as information is available. Alternatively, you may print and bring in the Treatment Authorization Form provided on this website.
