Medical and Surgical Services

At Mendocino Animal Hospital, we pride ourselves on being a full-service facility and are equipped to diagnose and treat a wide variety of medical and surgical problems. On premises digital radiology, laboratory, endoscopy, and ultrasonography services are readily available to our patients as are surgical solutions to some of the common problems that our pets may confront—anything from a difficult pregnancy to a trauma case requiring a fracture repair. If your pet should require a specialist or 24 hour care and observation, we work with a network of extremely capable surgeons and internists in Santa Rosa and at the University of California at Davis.

We know that your pet is an important family member, so please know that if he requires hospitalization, we both allow and encourage “family” visits during his hospitalization. You can call as often as you like and speak to his nurse, to get updates on his condition and to set up a time for visiting if so desired.
