Offering Cat and Dog Abdominal Ultrasound and Cardiac Ultrasound in Ukiah, CA
Mendocino Animal Hospital uses advanced ultrasound technology in-house to provide thorough diagnostics and better treatment solutions for our patients. With cat and dog abdominal and cardiac ultrasound, we can investigate underlying health problems that may not be apparent with a physical examination and X-rays. Ultrasound gives us an additional layer of information about your pet’s health and condition.

The Importance of Cardiac Ultrasounds for Dogs and Cats
A cardiac ultrasound might be needed for your pet so we can check for an enlarged heart (cardiomegaly), evaluate cardiac function and the chambers of the heart, and check for cardiac murmurs. This tool can help us detect signs of heart failure and prescribe potentially life-saving treatment to manage your pet’s condition.
In addition to being able to perform cat and dog cardiac ultrasounds in-house, we also have access to veterinary cardiologists, who can help to develop a custom treatment plan for your pet.
If you have any health concerns about your companion or have any questions about our ultrasound procedure, give us a call at (707) 462-8833 or book an appointment online.
